Then, the other day, my month old little Yorkie did this for the very first time.

Now I suppose he will be doing it occasionally. It is perfectly harmless - and if you don't get upset, your pup will get less upset, and soon it won't be bothering either one of you. It just happens. And, you're right. It does last for about 30 seconds or so.

My vet said it was reverse sneezing as well. Nothing to worry about. All 3 of mine do it. I think it is very common in small dogs. I've never had a small dog who didn't do it occassionally.
