When do sims 4 come out

It's natural to assume an expansion would be on the way given one normally comes out around June every year but we now have the formal reveal. Last week , EA and Maxis revealed all new plans for The Sims over the Summer, including new packs, updates, and, most importantly, a whole new expansion. Let's go over the other bits first.

A new kit was announced call called Courtyard Oasis that offers a pretty new area for your house. A new pack was also announced that allowed sims to become home designers as a new career. The Sims 2 featured 10 collections. So expect Sims 5 to receive as many stuff packs too. As usual, with every version of The Sims comes a series of game packs, a slightly compact feature compared to EPs. Although none have been announced for Sims 5 , Simmers can expect the medium-sized packs to arrive once the core game is made available.

Before the Gamescom reveal, multiple fansites created articles which leaked the game's previews and information, which was found on the servers running on thesims. The reveal was presented by Rachel Franklin, the executive producer on The Sims 4.

She explained "SmartSim", a feature which enriches emotions for the Sims. In the game, the Sims' emotions are affected in many ways, for example, relationships, furniture, etc. She also showed "creative tools", like the familiar Create a Sim and Build Mode , which was reinvented to make them "intuitive, powerful and flexible".

She also showed new and returning objects like a voodoo doll, a violin and a punching bag. At the end of the reveal, she stated that the official website for The Sims 4 was ready, and pre-orders for Limited Edition and Digital Deluxe could be made.
